PSI Roadmap

Navigate your inclusion journey with evidence informed and best-practice strategies

PSI: A Roadmap for LGBTQ+ Inclusion

The Pride in Sport Index (PSI) acts as a roadmap, to empower sporting organisations and clubs to develop effective LGBTQ+ inclusion strategies and action plans. It provides a set of evidence-based criteria, updated every three years, reflecting best-practice insights from national and international trends in sport. These criteria offer tailored guidance for both ‘standard’ and ‘community’ organisations, ensuring relevance to their unique contexts.

For many organisations, the PSI serves as a roadmap, guiding their planning and resource allocation as they begin their LGBTQ+ inclusion journey. While some organisations use the criteria solely for planning purposes, others may choose to submit their initiatives for auditing and benchmarking against peers later in their journey. Participation in the submission process is entirely optional.

Organisations interested in accessing the PSI criteria can request a copy of the PSI Submission documents and using it as your organisations Roadmap for success by requesting submission documents.
