Home keyboard_arrow_right Pride in Sport Index PSI Submission Benchmark your progress and showcase your commitment to LGBTQ+ inclusion PSI Submission: Choose the Stream That Fits Your Organisation The Pride in Sport Index (PSI) Submission process is tailored to suit the needs of different types of organisations within the sport, fitness and recreation sector. Two distinct streams— Standard and Community — allow organisations to participate in ways that reflect their structure, capacity, and focus. Standard Stream The Standard Stream is designed for larger sporting organisations, professional clubs, and governing bodies. It provides a comprehensive framework for organisations with established structures and resources to benchmark their progress and demonstrate leadership in LGBTQ+ inclusion. Who Can Participate? The Standard Stream is open to a wide range of organisations, including: National, State, and Regional Sporting Organisations Elite and Professional Clubs University Sports and Sports Academies Aquatic Centres, Sports Institutes, and Activity Centres Government and Local Government Sport Departments Sports Tourism Agencies, Federations, and Foundations Sporting Media and Event Organisations Submission Options Foundation Submission: A starting point for organisations embarking on their inclusion journey. Advanced Submission: For organisations looking to showcase advanced efforts in LGBTQ+ inclusion. Community Stream The Community Stream is specifically for grassroots sports clubs and associations that are predominantly run by volunteers. This stream ensures that local and community-level organisations can participate in the PSI in a way that reflects their unique challenges and opportunities. Who Can Participate? The Community Stream is open to: Community Sports Clubs Local Sports Associations This stream is exclusively for volunteer-led clubs and associations. Larger organisations, such as National, State, and Regional bodies, should apply through the Standard Stream. Submission Options Community Submission: A simplified submission tailored to the needs and capacity of community clubs and associations. How to Get Started Grassroots organisations must complete an Expression of Interest (EOI) form to receive their submission documents and guidance on the process. Request Your PSI Submission Documents To participate in each PSI Submission Cycle, all organisations must register an Expression of Interest (EOI) using the link below, regardless of previous participation or scores. Upon registration, Pride in Sport will provide the appropriate submission criteria tailored to your organisation’s needs. The PSI Submission criteria and supporting collateral includes: Foundation Submission Advanced Submission Community Sport Submission Collaboration Worksheets PIS Toolkit – PSI Submission Participation ACON Privacy Policy Research Data Security Policy Take the first step in your LGBTQ+ inclusion journey or continue to build on your achievements. Register for the PSI Submission Documents Submission Deadlines 🗓 Foundation Submissions (Standard Only): Accepted year-round. Pride in Sport members can fast-track their Foundation Submission at any time between 1 June – 1 December. 🗓 Advanced Submissions (Standard & Community): 📌 Deadline: 5:00pm AEDT Monday 8 February 2027. ⚠ No extensions will be granted to ensure fairness in benchmarking. Recognition & Results Tier rankings (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum) are announced at the Annual Australian Pride in Sport Awards, where top-performing organisations are publicly recognised. Formal results, including individual benchmarking reports, are sent directly to all submitting organisations after the awards. For Standard Foundation Submissions submitted between March and December, results are provided as soon as the review and marking process is complete. Need Support?
